Washington Minimum Wage Act

unpaid wages lawyer

Renamed the MINIMUM WAGE REQUIREMENTS AND LABOR STANDARDS

The Washington State Minimum Wage Act (WMWA) is the state law governing minimum wage, overtime and certain other aspects of pay for employees who work in Washington State. Employers who don’t follow the minimum wage law can be ordered to pay all unpaid wages, and may face criminal and civil penalties. Outreach and enforcement for the WMWA are administered by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) although it’s recommended that you should work with an experienced Employment Attorney like those at NL Law with years of experience in pursuing these claims.
Many Washington State Laws cover protection of employees. All permanent laws in Washington are compiled in the Revised Code of Washington (RCW)

Please Note:
You do not need to come up with money to start your case, because in Washington, your employer pays your legal fees. If you don’t win, you don’t pay. If you do win, we are paid a fraction of whatever we recover for you. This arrangement is called a contingent fee agreement.

You do not need to come to our office for us to handle your case. We are able to work with anyone in the State without them coming to our firm because we can do everything using the phone, email, and Zoom or other video conferencing if needed.
