Personal Experience

John Eklof, M.Ed., J.D. is an accomplished trial-tested attorney with deep experience in both public prosecution and civil litigation defense, now leading the single-plaintiff practice areas at the Nolan Lim Law Firm. He began his legal career at the Prosecutor’s Office, where he gained trial experience handling serious criminal matters and developed a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy.

After his time in public service, John expanded his practice in civil litigation defense at a respected defense firm, representing clients across a range of disputes and sharpening his skills in strategy, negotiation, and risk assessment.

Today, John leverages his diverse courtroom background, deep understanding of complex legal issues, and experience working with varied communities to achieve excellent outcomes for individual plaintiffs. His unique blend of prosecutorial grit and defense insight positions him to navigate high-stakes employment and civil rights cases with precision, purpose, and most importantly passion.
